The Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices for Cat A vehicles has reached a record high of $103,721, which is an increase of $7,220 from the last bidding exercise on 5th April. This is also the first time for COE prices of CAT A vehicles to cross over $100,000.
In general, COE prices for all vehicle categories has increase as compared to the last bidding exercise, except for Cat C vehicles. New price records were also seen for vehicles in Cat B and Open Category.
The COE prices for Cat B vehicles settled at $120,889, an increase of $2,388. Open category COEs, which can be used for any vehicle type but are mostly use to buy larger vehicles, also saw the prices reached a new price record of $124,501, an increase of $118,990 from last bidding exercise.
Cat C COE, which is for the goods vehicle and bus was $75,334, where else prices for Cat D vehicles, which is for motorcycle saw a $178 increase from last bidding exercise. The COE prices for Cat D vehicles settled at $12,179 in this bidding exercise.
